LIFE AT ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL IN DETROIT
St. Paul's Cathedral, Detroit.
I first attended Mass at St. Paul's on Palm Sunday, 2000. It was here, in this place that I came to know my calling especially to the Priestly Vocation.

EVANGELISM AND HOSPITALITY
For several years, before I began my seminary studies at Bexley Hall in Columbus, I served in several capacities in my home parish, St. Paul's Cathedral, which was, indeed, my neighborhood church. While I served on the Vestry, and, for a time, on the Cathedral Chapter as well, I headed our efforts especially in the areas of Hospitality, Evangelism, and to an extent, in our collective efforts to knit together more tightly our Family in Christ. Below, is a link to the second Cathedral Evangelism Committee Report, which I prepared in 2004. The document, while really too long, illustrates the breadth and depth of our efforts together to welcome Christ in ourselves, and in others, whom God might give to us to Know and to Love in Christ, and with His Holy Spirit.

Pictures from left to right: The Rev. Canon Mo. Meredith Hunt and me. Me, as a Subdeacon, after Mass, dressed in Alb and Tunicle with Apparels. I'm holding my new Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal, which was a gift from my parents. Canon Hunt had just blessed it. Finally, here I am with the Rev. Canon Fr. Orlando Addison, in the Priests' Sacristy. Orlando and Meredith were dear friends then, and have remained so since, and I have known them as enormous blessings in my life.
