church life
Canterbury Cathedral, England.
View of the ceiling of the Nave, looking West. When I first visited the Cathedral, I found that my attention was drawn immediately and naturally upwards, towards the church's magnificent vaulted ceiling, and so the great Minster's purpose was fulfilled once more, as its English Perpendicular Gothic form and flamboyant style, was surely meant to draw the thoughts of one's heart and mind towards the Person and Purposes of God in His Heaven.
