Photos of the St. Helena chapel at bexley Hall seminary
Below is a picture of Bexley House in Columbus, along with photographs of the Seminary's chapel as it appeared when the work on the St. Helena Chapel was completed in 2007 by a committee that I chaired and which was commissioned by Fr. John Kevern, who was then the Dean of Bexley Hall. The Altar was fabricated locally of solid hardwoods by master cabinetmaker Mr. Ray Ruede. The fabric work was created by Frances Bennekamper. Since then, I have been saddened to discover that these materials, including the altar, have all since been removed from the Chapel, as all of us who contributed so very much of our time, energies, and resources to the project did so with the hope that our work would comprise some lasting benefit to the dignity and beauty of the worship there at least for a few years to come.
